- Start laying
Trim the tongue from your boards and begin laying from the edge of your longest wall. Make sure to leave at least ¼ inch gap between your board and the wall.
- Lay the last plank
Once all the rows have been completed, lay the last row of your flooring. It might need a little trimming unless you’re super lucky. Then finish off by closing the ¼ inch gaps by using baseboard molding.
